The stumpy cort is a type of fish that lives in the Purelake on Roshar. They are relatively rare.[1]

Some of the Purelakers, including Ishikk, believe that a stumpy cort can be used to track or locate a person.[1] Some fish in the area do exhibit supernatural qualities resulting from bonds with spren,[2] but little is known about this phenomenon.
