Snarlbrush was a plant native to Roshar. It was known to grow in northwestern Alethkar but it is not known whether it grew elsewhere or not.Cite error: Invalid <ref>

It was a robust plant that grews in dense thickets around the bases of markel trees. It has branches that are as "thick as a man's leg" and their bark is coated in stone, likely as a protection from highstorms.Cite error: Invalid <ref>

Snarlbrush are tan colored as they absorb all water they come into contact with deep into their branches. This gives the outer appearance that the plant is dead. When they do get wet, they instantly turn verdant green at the point of contact, then slowly fade back to brown as the water is absorbed.Cite error: Invalid <ref>
