The Skaze were "evil Seons"[1] and were related to Skai.[2] Most likely due to Dominion's Intent, the Skaze are "pretty thirsty for power".[3]
They had a large amount of influence in the politics of Fjordell[4] and strongly influenced the Dakhor.[5]
Dilaf had information from the Skaze that the Elantrians were not indestructible.[6]
Hoid talks to a Skaze and indicates that he has made some sort of agreement with the Skaze.[7]
Similar to spren, Skaze can turn into Shardblades if they have something to pull them more into the Physical Realm.[8]
Speculation
It has been speculated that the Skaze might be Splinters of Dominion.
