The Skaze were "evil Seons"[1] and were related to Skai.[2]
They had a large amount of influence in the politics of Fjordell[3] and strongly influenced the Dakhor.[4]
Dilaf had information from the Skaze that the Elantrians were not indestructible.[5]
Hoid talks to a Skaze and indicates that he has made some sort of agreement with the Skaze.[6]
Similar to spren, Skaze can turn into Shardblades if they have something to pull them more into the Physical Realm.[7]
Speculation
It has been speculated that the Skaze might be Splinters of Dominion.
