Perethom is a lighteyed highmarshal and infantrylord in Dalinar Kholin's army.[2]
History
He participates as highmarshal of the Kholin Army in the destruction of Rathalas. Perethom took Dalinar's orders to let his men prepare the oil and flaming brands, organizing specifics. He presumably leads the charge on the walls of Rathalas, and eventually they secured a section of the wall in a furious, bloody fight after which Teleb and Sadeas—both Shardbearers—joined the fight and routed the last of the defenders. After that, Dalinar ordered the entire city burned.[3]
A decade later, Perethom serves as Dalinar's infantrylord on the Shattered Plains, commanding the foot soldiers. When a chasmfiend was spotted and the Kholin army decided to go on a plateau run, Perethom notified Dalinar that his second and third battalions were on duty. Shortly thereafter, Torol Sadeas demands to be admitted into the Kholin warcamp for his investigation into an assassination attempt on the king.[2]
He dies during the Battle of the Tower, along with Havar, Ilamar and six thousand more members of Kholin army.[1]
