Perchwither is a bioluminescent fungus which grows only in the kandra Homeland.[1] It generates a dim blue light, which the kandra grow eyes specifically to see effectively inside.[2]
A glowstone is a large, porous rock which perchwither grows on.[2] TenSoon noted that the Trustwarren did not use glowstone for its light, instead being lit using oil lamps with blue glass.[3]
It is possible that this is related to glowpaste on Threnody.[4]
