Ms. Torrent is the librarian at Armedius Academy.[1]

She stopped Joel from entering the Rithmatics section of the library as it is forbidden for non-Rithmatists to enter without an escort. When Joel returns with Melody, Ms. Torrent let them into the section reluctantly and then let them check out one of the books Nalizar had requested be sent to his office.[2] She acted similarly when they returned the book.[3]
