Miklin is a constable in Elendel on Scadrial.[1]
Appearance and Personality[edit]
Miklin's hair stands on end like 'grass growing from a pot'. Like many of his colleagues, he is skeptical of Marasi's methods and questions her motivations, likely due to bitterness regarding her association with Aradel and Waxillium.[1]
History[edit]
Miklin ran the records office at the Fourth Octant precinct. He was a close friend of Captain Reddi's, a rival of Marasi's, and was therefore somewhat obstructive of Marasi's investigation into the dam breaking near Corbeau. He was tasked with collecting info about the dam breaking despite his opinion that it was a waste of time. When Marasi came to collect the information, he complained about the assignment and argumentatively asked her why she didn't give up police work to become a prosecutor. Despite his attitude, the dossier that Miklin provided was very thorough and included a number of pieces of evidence that led Marasi and MeLaan to believe that the dam's saboteur, Johnst, was actually Bleeder.[1]
