Lossa is a historical figure on Taldain.[1]

Both she and her brother, Kerzt, claimed to have been visited by the Sand Lord. Kerztians say Lossa was cursed with sand mastery, and Kerzt tried to kill her for her offense to the Sand Lord. Lossandins say Lossa was blessed with her power, and Kerzt tried to kill her out of jealousy, which caused her to flee into the desert and found Lossand.
