Lorenzo is an NYPD lieutenant in Manhattan who was possessed by Dreamer, a poltergeist who was playing a game of cops and robbers. He was killed when Dreamer used his body to tackle Phi off a building.[1]

Lorenzo is a muscular, dark-skinned police officer. As a lieutenant in the New York City Police Department (NYPD), he wears a white shirt instead of a blue one. Dreamer describes his soul as "tough." He is tall, strong, and athletic. When possessed by Dreamer, he has a yellow aura around him that is only visible to other poltergeists. He is an excellent marksman.[1]

Lorenzo was responding to a shooting in a restaurant in Manhattan with a number of other police officers when Dreamer, in the guise of an old woman, distracted him and Bolted into his body. After a brief struggle, Dreamer was able to overcome Lorenzo's soul to take control of his body. Lorenzo had been singing a song in his head and thinking about an unknown woman when Dreamer possessed him, and Dreamer got a fleeting impression of those thoughts at the beginning of the possession. Claiming that he was pursuing a lead to placate the other police officers, Dreamer ran out of the restaurant. using Lorenzo's body to pursue Phi, another poltergeist in Dreamer's gaming group.
