KanPaar is a kandra of the Second Generation on Scadrial.
Appearance and Personality
He uses a tall True Body made out of red crystal[1] and keeps the rest of his body translucent.[2] He has a thick accent.[1]
He is of the Second Generation, giving him authority just below that of the First Generation among the kandra. He is an administrator who spends almost all of his time in the Kandra Homeland.[1]
History
KanPaar has spent centuries trying to prove that the kandra of the Third Generation are untrustworthy. KanPaar personally assigned TenSoon to Straff Venture.[2]
He is the primary speaker during the trial of the kandra TenSoon.[1] Soon after Sazed's arrival in the Kandra Homeland, KanPaar and the rest of the Second Generation lead a coup against the First Generation, imprisoning them and taking control. Later, KanPaar refuses to follow the Resolution and leaves the Homeland to sell some atium. He is taken over by Ruin, thereby revealing the location of the atium cache.[3] Marsh took the atium from KanPaar and uses it to live a very long time.[4]
