Huio is a Herdazian man on Roshar during the Era of Solitude.[1]

Huio is one of Lopen's cousins.[1] He is a beefy man with thick arms. He is one of Kaladin's squires and was quick to pick up on how to draw in stormlight.[2] He was also fairly skilled in field medicine–at least, more than Teft.[3]

Late in 1173, Lopen brought Huio and another of his cousins, Rod, to join Bridge Four.[1] He ends up often being on kitchen duty with Rock. He once created a delicious drink by adding lazbo to some shiki, much to Rock's surprise. Rock even began to ask Huio's advice on some recipes.[2]

Huio was known among Bridge Four for visiting prostitutes.[4] His lack of fluency in Alethi is a source of embarrassment to him.[5]
