Frost is a character from Dragonsteel Prime. He is the oldest known character in the Cosmere, older even than Hoid.[1] He has a non-interference policy and, though not appearing on screen in any of the published books, has been referenced.[2]

It has been suggested that Frost is the Recipient of the First Letter and the author of the Second. If true, he is closely associated with the Seventeenth Shard and does not age, explaining his long life.[3]
