Focus Scenes is a term Brandon often referred to in annotations. It means particularly powerful scenes that are dynamic, delivers a strong sense of feeling and are generally in the climax. These scenes might be developed even before the books' main plot lines. They are part of what drives Brandon to write the books, and without a few really good ones in store, he wouldn't start to write a book.[1][2]
