Eranniv is a former Shardbearer on the Shattered Plains.

He is first mentioned to Adolin by Jakamav, who describes him as being boastful and insisting that his skill is higher than his ranking would show, and that he would accept an offer which others refuse in order to stand out. Despite this Jakamav still warns Adolin that he is actually skilled and not completely full of himself, so he should watch out when dueling him.[1]
