Edan is an Arelish baron on Sel.[1]
He was the baron of Tii Plantation, and was bankrupt and in danger of losing his title under King Iadon's system of awarding titles for wealth. Bad investments coupled with poor crop yields from his infertile land bordering on the Chasm had ruined him financially. His hatred of Iadon's system of conferring titles of nobility made him one of the strongest supporters in the clandestine anti-Iadon political meetings held by Kiin. He later fled to Duladel.[2]
