The Dor is the force which powers both Elantrian Aons and the powers of the Dakhor. It is also the force which kept the Elantrians alive after the Reod and which gives them many of their unique characteristics. When an Aon is drawn the Dor appears to be a bright chaotic force which wanted to be released, however an Aon channels it's energy into a specific function.

The Duladels religion of Jesker taught that the Dor was the unseen power which controlled everything.
