The Deniers of Masks are a group of people from southern Scadrial.[1]

They are implied to avoid wearing the masks commonly worn by the people who live in the south.[1] The Deniers are dangerous for some unknown reason, and Allik Neverfar belives that the Bands of Mourning could be used to fight them. This term does not refer to the inhabitants of the Elendel Basin and the surrounding areas, as the southerners just refer to them as barbarians.
