Darcira is a Lightweaver and a member of the Unseen Court on Roshar.[1]

Appearance and Personality[edit]

Darcira is quiet, avoids crowds, and likes to curl up and read. Like many Lightweavers, she enjoys "acting the part" when she puts on an illusion, and can become bold, even reckless.[1]

Attributes and Abilities[edit]

Darcira is a Lightweaver and has bonded an unnamed Cryptic. She is presumably of the First Ideal, as she cannot manifest a Shardblade. She is able to use the Surges of Illumination and Transformation.[1]

Soulcasting[edit]

The Soulcaster enters (or partially enters) the Cognitive Realm to convince the sentience of an object to change materials, transforming it into something else if successful. Some transformations are more basic than others, with more complicated transformations requiring a more skilled Surgebinder and more Stormlight.

Lightweaving[edit]

Lightweaving deals in illusions. It involves the manipulation of waves of sound or light and has a strong Spiritual component requiring a certain measure of Connection and a full mental picture of the desired illusion.

History[edit]

Shortly before the singer occupation of Urithiru, Darcira trained in swordplay and Lightweaving with Shallan in a chamber underneath the tower. She was one of the newer Agent Lightweavers at the time, and trained alongside Beryl. Darcira was still relatively unpracticed with her powers, and Shallan advised her that she should not let wearing an illusion have undue influence on her actions. She was not chosen to go on the expedition to Lasting Integrity.[1]
