Azalec is a wealthy person in the Rose Empire on Sel.[1]

He is known only from a letter forged by Shai that was intended to turn her Striker guards against Weedfingers, the Bloodsealer who helped imprison her in the Rose Palace. The letter referred to Azalec as well-known in Dzhamar for earning a large amount of money in the Southern Provinces of the empire.[1] Although the letter was forged, Shai went to great lengths to ensure that it seemed authentically written by Weedfingers, and it is likely that the information about Azalec was accurate.
