Tonk Fah
Nationality Pahn Kahl
Homeworld Nalthis

Tonk Fah is a Pahn Kahl mercenary on Nalthis.[1]

He is a sociopathic mercenary, and works with Denth as a thug. He is "large of girth" and carries a cudgel strapped to his back.[2]

He keeps a succession of exotic pets which he tortures and kills when the urge takes him. It took Denth a large effort to have him re-focus his attention to animals instead of humans.

After Parlin dies, Vivenna escapes into the streets. At first she attempts to awaken Tonk Fahs cloak but due to a bad command this does not work, and she instead uses Clod's lifeless command as a distraction. While starving on the streets, Vivenna remembers that the first soup kitchen she went to was being watched by Tonk Fah from across the street, and thus she avoids to going to any of them even while on the verge of death.[3]

After Vivenna sneaks into the Court of the Gods in order to help free Vasher with the guidance of Nightblood, she comes across Denth torturing Vasher, with Tonk Fah idly sleeping with his back against the wall. Vivenna uses an awakened rope to strangle Tonk Fah, which distracts Denth as he moves to help him escape the binding.

While Tonk Fah keeps an eye on her during the duel between Denth and Vasher, she realises that he was still wearing the same cloak she had placed her BioChromatic Breath into. She uses this for a distraction against Denth.[1]

After Denth is killed by Vasher he takes his money and escapes with Jewels[4]
