Attention

I marked this for attention because . . . well, it just looks messed up to begin with, with words repeated and in different fonts. And I found it by looking at the species tag for Kokerlii. Now, before I marked this article, it said something like "broken template". Now it shows a bunch of brackets and the word "Category". It's all very confusing and I have no idea how to fix it. I'm not clear exactly on what the issue is, but I'll try to explain generally what's going on here. Everything on the template page looks correct to me (I think I made the page originally?). The template translates a word in an infobox, like "koloss", and automatically links to the correct article and category. The table shows which translations are currently allowed in the template. Since Aviar is not on there, it will say "broken template" when you attempt to use "species=aviar". Generally, the way I will fix this is by adding the necessary entries into the template. However, in this particular case, I don't think we want to add Aviar to this template because it is intended for sentient non-human species. So, to sum up: don't use the "species=" line for a character if their species is not listed on this table, and check with me or Joe if you think something should be added to the table. Add Forgotten as a species

I thought it would be a good idea to put the Scribbler as a separate page (sort of like Thaidakar), and I was thinking that his infobox could include that he's a Forgotten. However, Forgotten isn't a valid species, so I was wondering, could it be added?

-- Hey Spriy sorry for the delay, we're behind in our patrolling so this hasn't been gotten to yet. If you add it like this |'species= in the infobox then it should work. If not, just drop a message back here and I'll look into it more. :) LadyLameness (talk) 02:28, 27 May 2021 (UTC)
