Instability

Is it worth mentioning that the L1 point (the Lagrange point that Taldain is shown inhabiting) is unstable over long time periods? Has anyone asked Brandon about whether Autonomy is intervening to prevent the planet from drifting out of its position and potentially being ejected from the system, or put in a highly-elliptical orbit (either of which would tend to exterminate life there)?
