Ferrings

Someone should totally put this relevant bit of info about ferrings being rare before the final ascension into the page: Relevant Theoryland Database Link -Josh

Number of possible powers

If every shard can combine with the regular 16 metals to form 16 new alomantic alloys (as can every shard combination because harmonium) then there are a total 1048576 possible alomantic metals and powers

Lerasium

Just wondering whether or not Lerasiums Allomantic use should be listed as creating Mistborn as in 17th Shard Interview--Voidus (talk) 16:04, 24 August 2012 (UTC)

Good point. In fact, it was confirmed somewhere that what lerasium does if you are already an Allomancer is it strengthens your Allomancy. That should be in there. --Chaos2651 (talk) 19:38, 25 August 2012 (UTC)

Metal categorization

On this page, Metallic Arts, the metals are divided into 8 "basic" metals and 8 "higher" metals, a system which I believe is derived from how the characters from the books consider them.

On the Template:Metallic arts page, all 16 non-god metals are labeled as "base" metals.

Seems like they should be consistent. Hadhad (talk) 12:11, 2 March 2016 (MST)

Indeed, these are all inconsistently based around understandings from various Ars Arcanum and in-world knowledge. The standard should probably be as 'modern' as we know, with the inconsistencies explained in a history/culture section somewhere.
