Seventeenth Shard

The Seventeenth Shard is a mysterious organization that, along with Hoid and the Shards, is speculated to be influential in the overall Cosmere.

Ishikk

Ishikk the Purelaker is acting as a guide and informant to three foreigners who are looking for Hoid. They have been confirmed to be from the Seventeenth Shard. Posted early on in old Timewaster's Guide forums based on the distinct linguistic pattern of Dulas, it has been confirmed by Brandon that the one Ishikk calls Grump is Galladon from Sel. Brandon also recently confirmed at a signing that Thinker is Demoux from Scadrial; this was first conjectured in the 17th Shard forums based on the scar on Demoux's scalp. The third member called Blunt is Baon from Taldain, the Shardworld in which the graphic novel of White Sand, as well as its unpublished novel form, takes place.
