It has been confirmed that Patji at some point was a being of its own, an "avatar," with unknown amounts and origins of Investiture, somehow related to Autonomy.[1] Brandon previously said that Patji was a Shard of Adonalsium,[2] but later clarified and said that what he meant by that was that Patji was strongly connected to a Shard of Adonalsium, specifically Autonomy.[3]
