Captain Cobb (callsign: Mongrel) is a flight instructor for the DDF and a First Citizen. He was the wingmate of Zeen Nightshade, Spensa's father, and when Chaser betrayed Hope flight during Battle of Alta and began to shoot down friendly ships, Cobb shot him down on Ironside's orders.
