Evershore is an upcoming novella in the Skyward series, co-written by Brandon Sanderson and Janci Patterson.[2][3] It will star Jorgen as the point-of-view character.[4] The current release date is unknown and it may end up being released after Cytonic;[5] it will initially be published simultaneously as an audio- and e-book, with a combined print edition of it, Sunreach, and ReDawn likely coming in 2022. It is set between Starsight and Cytonic.[4]

With the government of Detritus in disarray because of Superiority treachery, and with Spensa still away on her mission in the Nowhere, Jorgen must work together with the alien Alanik to pick up the pieces.
