Edmund Sense, also known as the Epic Conflux is commonly believed to be a member of Steelheart's inner circle. In reality he is a prisoner.[1]

He is a kind man and is very cooperative with the reckoners since he gives his abilities away, saving him from corruption.

History

Edmund first discovered he was an epic when he tried to make a burrito cook faster, and he electrocuted and killed his wife. Edmund Sense was kidnapped soon after transforming. His first owner hoped he would be able to gift his abilities to him, but Edmund was unable to do so. Eventually, he found himself in the hands of Steelheart, who had no interest in possessing energy recharge abilities himself, but needed a power source both for his city and for Enforcement. He is later rescued by the Reckoners and moved after Prof destroyed the Reckoners base in Newcago.

Abilities

Energy Charging
Edmund can power any electrical device, or recharge any depleted battery or power source. Batteries and power cells charged by Edmund or one of his giftees hold many times more power than their normal counterparts, a portable power cell being sufficient to power a small city.
Transference
He can give others his ability by touch, or recall the power at will. This ability does not work on other epics.
Weakness
His weakness was dogs, but he faced it and now they don't really effect his powers too much.
