Skyward 3 is the third book in the Skyward series by Brandon Sanderson. It is the sequel to Starsight.
Development
In an AMA leading up to the release of the first book, Brandon stated that the trilogy would likely become a four book series.[1] In his 2018 State of the Sanderson, he stated that due to completing work on Rhythm of War, Skyward 3 "won't be written until 2020, for a spring 2021 release."[2] In the 2019 State of the Sanderson, this was updated to writing in late 2020 for a "likely" 2021 release.[1]
