Attica Smedry is an Oculator and the heir to House Smedry.[1]

He is married to Shasta and the father of Alcatraz. His Talent is losing things.

He was captured in the Library of Alexandria and read a book explaining something about the Incarna. Alcatraz Smedry freed him. It explained that he is working on how to give everyone talents, which he announces that he discovered how to do at the end of Alcatraz Versus the Knights of Crystallia

Appearance and Personality

Attica is disc ribbed as being a tall man with messy hair. He Alcatraz notes at several points in the book that he is a terrible father, and Grandpa Smedry comments that he does not cope with his fame too well. He also admits to being terrible at saying good bye.

Attributes and Abilities

Attica has the ability to lose things. Though he is never seen using his talent, his talent can be used to hide things, as is seen by is wife, Shasta Smedry, who used the talent to keep a book she stole from the Royal Archives from being repossessed even after Alcatraz and his friends escape back to the free kingdoms. Attica is also an Oculator, and has access to and can use the different oculator's lenses. Other than his magical abilities, Attica is a renown scholar and researcher in the Free Kingdoms. Among his research, his achievements include discovering how Transporter's glass works and devising a method for collecting the sands of Rashid. He can also be clever, as he found a loophole in the rules of the Library of Alexandria, which allowed him Alcatraz to free him from the library.
