Update for released works

Should there be mentions of how in TLM, Moonlight triggers the Shaod on herself, or how the Ire have the ability to trigger the Shaod in people of their choice in Tress? Or are these considered separate phenomenon? --ParshendiOfRhuidean (talk) 18:24, 12 January 2023 (UTC)

That seems like it would fit, but, I don't think that would fully count as the Shaod, but just a replication of its effects. The Shaod, in my opinion, specifically refers to the "random" phenomenon on Sel. Not the far more intentional methods we have seen in TLM and TotES. And also, I don't think that was specific to the Ire, but groups of Elantrians in general. --Firesong (talk) 22:31, 12 January 2023 (UTC)

I agree with Firesong - it's not entirely clear if the Shaod is referring to the conversion of someone to an Elantrian or if it's the specific mechanistic process that occurs around Arelon. At least for now, I don't think we can say what happens in Tress/TLM is the Shaod, at least not without more information from Brandon. LadyLameness (talk) 01:11, 13 January 2023 (UTC)
