Wording of Attributes[edit]

Iron does not store physical weight, it stores physical mass, per The Alloy of Law Ars Arcanum. Could someone with edit access please update the table to accurately convey this? Quindraco (talk) 17:35, 19 January 2023 (UTC)

Bendalloy does not store energy; it stores the sugar half of body fuel (Cadmium stores the other half) and stores both nutrients and water - a Bendalloy compounder doesn't need food or water so long as they have Bendalloy. Could someone with edit access please update the table to accurately convey this? Quindraco (talk) 17:35, 19 January 2023 (UTC)

We're copying off the Era 2 Ars Arcanum table, which clearly says "Physical weight" and "stores energy" for the two you have stated, so the table is very literally accurate to the books. Remember these are quick descriptions to get the point across, and don't overthink it. People will indeed need to read more details on the respective metal pages. However, I'm not sure what Alloy of Law Ars Arcanum you're referring to. I have a first edition, a leatherbound (which would be the most up-to-date version of the text), The Lost Metal (also would have the most up-to-date Ars Arcanum), and a Feruchemical table poster. On every single one of these, it says "physical weight" and not physical mass, in both the table and the description of iron. There is no discrepancy in the last eleven years of these Ars Arcana.
For bendalloy, I think it's perfectly accurate to say it is storing energy. Calories are energy. They will need to read the description for more. I certainly wouldn't phrase it like "body fuel" in relation to cadmium; that's a bit odd to me. Regardless, the table seems fine. Does that all make sense? -- Chaos2651 (talk) 06:02, 21 January 2023 (UTC)
