Mistake in the Early Life Section[edit]

In the "Early Life" section, under "History," the page says "He then seemed to have forgotten about them, causing them to die in the dungeons while awaiting their trial." This contradicts the text, which says "Elhokar knew they’d die in there. That way, the hearing would never go before the magistrates, exposing his corruption" (Chapter 44: One Form of Justice). Even if you think Moash's account isn't fully accurate, he is at least guilty of gross negligence and could be charged with murder since they were in his care. Elhokar put them into the dungeon without taking care to make sure that Moash's grandparents didn't die, even though he had to be aware that there's a high possible of their dying, and he did that to prevent the trial; ergo, to hide his illegal claim. Even Dalinar does not deny that this is a form of murder. He denies that Elhokar is to blame, but he does not deny Elhokar's agency: rather, he says that Elhokar did what Moash claims, but because of Roshone's advice (Chapter 62: The One Who Killed Promises). While it can be argued whether Elhokar is at fault, the text makes it undeniable that Elhokar did not merely forget them, and so the entry is incorrect. I will be charitable and attribute this not to a bias but to a mistake in memory.

Please feel free to make this edit directly :) It seems the matter has been resolved by now. It's hard to get every detail right, and so editors make mistakes sometimes. That's okay, and feel free to adjust it to be correct! -- Chaos2651 (talk) 00:28, 21 April 2021 (UTC)
