Sliding doors

An anonymous user removed a sentence I had added in "Appearance and Personality", with no comment for why. (https://coppermind.net/wiki/Riina?&diff=178406&oldid=178030) I do not intend to begin edit warring, and if it is the will of the coppermind editors for that part of the page to be removed, I won't add it back in. However I would like to know *why* it was removed. Thanks to anyone who can bring some clarity. - ParshendiOfRhuidean (talk) 23:33, 16 March 2023 (UTC)

I've added the sentence back in, but I tacked it on to the end of a paragraph and included a connection to Riina's overall personality, to make it clearer why the sentence is there. My best guess as to why it got deleted in the first place is that maybe the user didn't feel like it really belonged in the section; hopefully this should help. Lightweaving

Under powers and abilities, should we include Lightweaving? It is unclear whether this is her doing or via technology. It's also unclear whether it is Rosharan or Yolish Lightweaving, and thirdly, it is also possible that Lightweaving becomes a catchall term for illusion based Investiture (in the same way Fabrial become a term for general technological applications of Investiture). Because of all these worries, I'm adding it here, but not to the page itself. The mention occurs in chapter 61. -Linnafred

Indeed, Lightweaving can be a generic term; in the Stormlight Ars Arcanum, Khriss also mentions variations of Lightweaving on Sel. I think that's actually even more helpful in this case, since one of those variations would almost certainly be Aon Shao in AonDor, which of course Riina already has access to. --Stargazer (talk) 14:43, 27 March 2023 (UTC)
