Malal is a singer on Roshar who is one of Leshwi's soldiers. They are known to Venli and have moral qualities that set them apart from the type of soldier who serves Lezian.[1]
Venli noted that Malal and Rothan were some of the singers who did not participate when Lezian and his troops began attacking the defenseless Radiants and civilian humans in Urithiru.[1]
